Pedro Cota, M.D.

Dr. Cota received his medical degree in 1997 from the prestigious Universidad Autonoma de Baja California. Later continued his training in General Surgery earning his degree with honors from the National Autonomous University of Mexico, then he pursued a three year fellowship specializing in Plastic Surgery from the National Autonomous University of Mexico.

Dr. Cota, seeking to expand his knowledge and surgical experience, pursued further studies in Body Contouring in Brazil doing a 6 month fellowship in the Ivo Pitanguy Institute from the world renowned plastic surgeon Ivo Pitanguy.

Buttocks and breast surgery from the leading expert Dr. Raul Gonzalez where he finished a 6 month training , later continuing with a one year fellowship in Madrid at the prestigious Hospital de la Paz in facial surgery.

During this years in the Plastic Surgery field he has contributed to the knowledge with many articles maintaining him at the front of his field.
